Family Fun on a Small East Texas Farm

Savor a taste of life on the farm here in East Texas. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life. There are no phones in the cottages with the exception of Cobblestone.  A TV with a DVD player is located in each cottage to watch movies. Select a cottage that sleeps up to six, or three guest can stay in the old barn next to the pond. Whichever you choose you can leave the world behind you as you stay on this 68 acre farm and wildlife management area. Enjoy watching the chickens, pheasants, doves, ducks, and wildlife. Wildlife includes deer, wild rabbit, opossum, raccoons, armadillo, bobcat, wild hogs, crane, wood ducks, coyotes, and many species of birds, in season. Sit by the firepit at night and relax as you listen to the Coyotes serenade you. Catfish, bluegill, and crappie are abundant in the one acre pond. Feeding the fish is fun but catching them is even more fun. Bring your pole and bait, catch them, and then turn them loose so the next guest can experience the excitement.
